THE SYDNEY ABORTION CASE.

SHERIDAN MAKES A STATEMENT. Sydney, Nov. 25. Sheridan has made a written statement, witnessed by his solicitoranci the Governor of the Gaol, exonerating his partner, Thomas. Ho alleges that the latter knew nothing of tbe circumstances of the death of tbe woman Nicholls, and that Thomas bad only been connected with tbe“ Institute ” for a couple of weeks. Sheridan adds that Thomas entered into partnership in the full belief that he was a legitimate medical practitioner and that he remained without being enlightened. The confession also states that Miss Nicholls was only a patient received for treatment.
