DATES OF NOMINATION*, ACCEPTANCES and GENERAL ENTRIES- j, Nominations close at the Commercial Hotel, Waverley, at 8 p.m, on THURSDAY, 10th October, 1895 Weights on TUESDAY, October 22nd. Acceptances and General Entrie sup to 8 p m. on TUESDAY, October 29th. Telegraph and Post Offic s close at 5 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS, 1. The winner of the Waverley and Waitotara Cup, Flying Handicap, and Momohaki Stakes to carry a penalty of 71bs in any other race at this meeting, not cumulative. 2. A hack is a hoise that has never won an advertised race (hack and hunter races excepted) and that is not at time of start, and has not been during the three calander months previous co start, nominated for any race (hack and hunter races excepted.) 3. All nominations must include description, age, pedigree, colours of rider, and name of owner ; horses in all cases to carry the said colours, and also numbered saddlecloth provided by tho club. 5. All the nominations, with the necessary amount in net cash, must be in the hands of the Secretary at the advertised time; postmarks will not be recognized on any pretext what* ever. 5. All races to be run under the Wanganui Metropolitan Rules of Racing. 6. No entry will be received for and race except on the distinct condition that any and all claims, disputes, any objections which may arise in connect tion with the racing shall be settled by the stewards or whom| they may appoint: such decision to be final.
