NEW IDEAS OF FARMING.
New ideas of farming are being successfully put into practice in the United States. A greet many fish farms have been started of late. The propagation is carried on in a series of ponds or basins—the first for hatching, another for the young fish, and a final one for maturing until large enough for market. The business yields a good profit. Frog farming has become quite an industry, and is carried on in a similar manner. Most hotels and restaurants in the large cities are supplied with the Parisian delicacy by those who make ffrog-fuising a trade. The rabbit ranch is one of the latest
