BANK OF AUSTRALASIA.
London, March 31. The balance-sheet of the Bank of Australasia shows a profit of £57,000, of which £9600 is carried forward. The deposits amount to £12,700,000; public securities and cash items, £5,072,000 ; advances, bills receivable and other assets, £11,910,000. The directors report that the business of the Bank, considering the circumstances of the colonies, has been -well maintained, and, they hope to see the connection increased if the current season in favourable.
