The native owners of land on both sides of the Central Railway Lino from Tp Awamutn. to Marton have now given their consent to the construction of the Northern Main Trunk Bailway, and appear very enthusiastic about the matter. Tenders are invited for the first sections at each end, the northern section being 15 miles and the southern 124 miles.
