The casunlity was due to a scries ot mistakes,-none of which were held to be sufficiently zealous to justify tho Court in dealing, with the officers’ certificates. The eourt added a rider drawing attention tp. the blameworthy practice of sending ships to sett before they bad been inclined and their stability calculated.
