Total £66 7s 6d. In reply to questions, debtor said that the debts duo were long-standing ones. He had not been in regular work, and during the last four months he had done his best to work off his ‘ He had lost £33 odd by Dickson’s job, and had had to pay £5 expenses besides. Out of the last £ls received from Dickson he had paid £l2 away in sums of £2 to various creditors. He had, work to go to at Nelson. Out of the last six months he had been employed three; so that bis average earnings were 5s per day, while his household expanses were a little more. About two years ago he owed £BO, and he had worked that down to £56. He had failed in Wellington before he came here, through being let in for £192 on a contract with R J Duncan. Previous to this he he had compromised with his creditors in Invercargill, giving them 17s 6d in the £. On that occasion he lost £3OO through a building blowing down. The meeting declined to. appoint a trustee, and it was left with the Chairman to call the creditors together, if necessary.
