WELLINGTON-MANAWATU RAILWAY.
[per press association.] WELLINGTON, This day. The Wellinglon-Manawatn Railway Company will to-day call for / tenders for the construction of seven miles of line extending from Fitzherbert Bridge in a southerly direction. It is understood that Messrs Henderson arid Co., Otago, are the successful tenderers for the Porirua Bridge Contract, portion of the line, at a price just under £IB,OOO.
