THE Undersigned begs respectfully to inform the settlers on this coast that he has just received a large shipment of Clovers, Lucerne, Sanfoin, &c., in fine condition, and has to arrive, ex Alastor, now due, a further supply of 40 fahds of Clovers, Natural Grasses, &c. From long experience in the Seed Trade, and Importing as I do direct from the Home market, I am in a position to supply all imported Seeds as low as any in the trade. I can also offer a large quantity of the finest Canterbury, Poverty Bay, and local grown Rye Gras, Timotli} 7 , Cocksfoot, Italian Eye Grass, which is now Coming to hand in fine condition. Acceptances and entries for the Maiden Plate close on Saturday, 16th December, 1882. The rules of the Wanganui Jockey Club will be adhered to, as far as practicable. All nominations to contain age, name, color, sex, pedigree, and performances of horses, and name of owner. ■ Colors of riders to be sent in with acceptances. No entries will be received for the above races except on the following condition :—That the decision of the stewards on all points shall be final.
