THE dullness of times and scarcity of money brought an immense increase of trade to Huxley, the Wellington Tailor. In prosperous times people arc lavish of their money, payiny £6 IDs for suits, when they could get quite as good from Huxley for £4 10s. When money is scarce, people begin to enquire where they can get good value, and arc directed to Huxley, who can make good suits at £3 or £3 10s.
