NOTICE is hereby .given, that at a Sitting of the Assessment Court for the Patea East Road Board District, held on the Ist day of March, 1879, it was proved to the said Court that no Valuation List for the said Patea East Road Board District had been prepared as required by “ The Rating Act, 1876,” and the Judge of the said Assessment Court has appointed Edward Greenway to be the Valuer for such District to make such List, and has fixed Wednesday, the 26th day of March, 1879, as the day for the completion thereof; and directed that the said List shall be Open for Public Inspection on and from Thursday, the 27th day of March, 1879, until Monday, the 28th day of April, 1879, inclusive, at a convenient place, to be publicly notified by the Patea East Road Board ‘under the twelfth Section of the said Act; and that all' objections thereto shall be delivered on or before Monday, the said 28th day of April, 1879; and has appointed a Sitting of the said Assessment Court to be held at the School-house, Whenuakura Block, ou Saturday, the 10th day of May next, at 11 a.in., for hearing such objections.
