THE Mount ain road being now openedfor Stock' and other Gallic, persons will find it to their advantage to take this route in preference to the coach road, as it .saves a distance in travelling of about 40 miles. The road is formed for half the distance, bridges arc constructed over the principal .streams, and excellent approaches are made to the different creeks, so that travelling is now comparati'-ely easy. The distance by the coach road from Batea to New Plymouth is 100 miles ; by way of Inglewood, GO miles.
