ENEMY TRANSPORT
HAMMERED IN BURMA. (Britisji Official Wireless) (Received 10.45 a.m.) RUGBY. October 15. Allied air attacks on, enemy positions in Burma are still effective and carried out with surprisingly few losses. R.A.F. Wellingtons again today struck heavily at enemy targets on the main road between Rangoon and Mandalay. R.A.F. fighters attacked rail, road and river transport over wid© areas in Central and Northern Burma. From ail of these operations only one plane is missing.
