Mrs F- Walker and Miss Beth Walker left Pahiatua yesterday to spend a holiday in Whangarci. Miss E. J. Drummond, of Ashhurst, has been spending a week as tlic guest of her future sister-in-law , Mrs N. M. Cavanagli. Pahiatua June Pown, of Ballance, arrived back from Gisborne with Mrs I. Down and her son Sgt. R. T. Down, on Monday nfgbt. They left for Wanganui on r J?uesday. The many friends of Sister Struthers will be pleased to hear that she has now returned to her home, after a long per od as an inmate of a Wellington hospital
