DETAILS OF ARMY PLANS Details ol the scheme under which Army units will undertake harvest ing work for farmers are at present being worked out t« e Army an-; farmers’ organisations. Farmers have been asked to detail their work so that a plan can be worked out. The Army units will remain under military control while they are harvesting, anci in periods between crops w’ill continue with their regular training. It is probable that iu large crop ping areas a base will do set up and parties of men will be sent out to bivouacs near the jobs. The Army will see that there i«* sufficient transport, but the farmer will, of course, bt required to supply equipment such as folks and twine A liaison officer with a knowledge of farming will be included in each Army unit.
