MR HOLLAND OPTIMISTIC
TIME FOR AN ELECTION Elective Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. Cct. 3, “The basis for postponement of the General Election has disappeared," declared the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Holland), when questioned about the possibility of an election “There is not the justification foi the Government carrying on as a party Government, and an election should be held as soon as the war situation permits.
Mr Holland suggested that the election should be held in about three months’ time.
