RAZOR BLADES
A representative of an Auckland distributing firm stated that it was hoped that consignments of safety razor blades would arrive here in the near future. The manufacturers iu England, it was stated, were rationing retailers in regard to supplies left over after the army demands had been satisfied. In some instances the chemist or dealer, instead of selling packets of fives, was, supply ing only one blade at a tune. It could not be expected, the manufacturers added, that the daily life should go on normally when more guns, airoraft and ammunition were required for the fighting forces, hut orders would be executed by them to the best of their ability.
