The State Cabinet is considering complaints of immorality and drunkenness among young girls and soldiers. United States military police publicly spanked two young girls who persisted in forcing their attentions on American soldiers at a crowded railway station. Hundreds of people watched approvingly while the police soundly belaboured the girls with the fiat of their hands.
