AIRMAIL DELAY
Bearing the postmark November 26, 1941, an air mail letter from England was received by a New Plymouth resident last Wednesday just a day or two after the arrival of a letter posted in England on March 25 of this year and carried by surface mail. The writer of the air mail letter sent it by that mode of transport in the hope that it would react its destination in time to convey greetings for Christmas—of 1941.
