APPEAL PROVISOS

NOT HEEDED BY ARMY The man whose appeal is adjourned sine die has less than a sporting chance of entering camp this winter even if ordered to undergo territorial training during the off-season., declared Mr T. W. Jordan, yesterday. This confirms the statement of Mr H. B. Lusk, chairman of the Armed Forces Appeal Board last week. It is said the Army authorities are not keen to accept these part time soldiers in these days of complete mobilisation. The practical outcome of this is a virtual exemption for the appellant despite the fact that he may have his affairs finalised and his bags packed awaiting the letter marked O.H.M.S.
