R A.F FIGHTERS SHOOT DOWN ENEMY BOMBER. (Received 10.15 a.in.) United Press Assn.- -By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July 7. It is officially announced that there was some intermittent enemy air activity over the South Coast this morning, during which bombs were dropped on one town, damaging a number of houses and causing a few casualties. R.A.F. fighters successfully engaged the enemy and shot down a bomber into the sea. this being the sesond shot down to-day. Three were killed, in last night's raid in a small north-eastern village, while they were returning borne from the cinema.
