Turkey and Syria have reached an agreement declaring mutual their intention not to recognise any alteration by third parties of the status quo in the East Mediterranean. The two Governments will consult on all matters concerning the East Mediterranean. Three divisions of the Turkish Army, including two mechanised brigades, are being transferred from the Russian border I© the Syrian.
