WOODVILLE PICTURES

ROBERT TAYLOR IN A YANK AT OXFORD.” FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

To the m'ost rousing adventures of the screen add this comedy-drama of a two-fisted “smart guy” who learned to “lose like a gentleman” at Oxford. To film its tornadic thrills Metro-Goldwyn-Alayer sent a host of stars to England and spent months there in making the finest picture of the year, presenting some of the most exerting film adventures ever seen—the spectacular Oxford-Cam-bridge boat race, rousing student songs, laughs and thrills galore. This is definitely the finest role of Robert Taylor's career and he is ably assisted by Lionel Barrymore, Vivien Leigh. Maureen O'Sullivan, Edmund Govan and Griffith Jones. Patrons are advised to book early.
