FOUR SONS ANI) SON-IN-LAW !N ROYAL FORCES. Electnc Telegraph—Press Association HASTINGS. February 16. Mr M. J. Herrick, a son of Mr E. J. Herrick. Hastings, will leave New Zealand tor England on March 9 to undergo long term training with the Royal Aii Forte in Gran well. His <*ntry into the Air Force will establish a record probably unique in New Zealand, for Mr and Mrs Herrick will then have four sons and a son-in-law all serving in the Royal Forces. Mr B. H. Herrick is now undergoing a four-vear term with the Royal Air Force in Gilford, and the other two sons are serving in the Royal Navy—Mr T. I). Herrick as # first lieutenant on H.M.S. Decoy, f mr - stationed at Hong Kong, and Mr I>. E. Herrick who is in England specialising in submarine work. Mr :and Mrs Herrick’s son-in-law. Captain Poett, is at present attached to the staff college, Carnberley, England.
