McIntosh, The coroner’s veidict was that Tynan died of a wound from a shotgun accidentally discharged. The evidence showed that Tynan's financial position was sound and that lie had just completed building a. house. For the time being he was living by himself in a tent. Stray cats were annoying him. and i 5 was known that he had his gun in the tent for shooting cats. It was stated that when the body was found, Tynan’s three dogs were
living beside it with the discharged gun close by. The position »>i tin wound showtnl that Tynan could not have reached the trigger with his hand, and his foot could not have been inserted within the guaid. The only means bv which the trigger could have been intentionally worked would "have been a piece of stick t>r string. There was no sign of anything of this nature having been used, and it was considered that one of the dogs jumping round had touched the trigger.
