SHOW CATALOGUES

THE QUESTION OF COLOUR

A diminutive catalogue seller wandered into the secretary’s office on the showgrounds on Saturday and with disconsolation written all over his face asked Mr Walsh if he had any red or blue catalogues. The little chap explained tha.t two men he had just approached in the vicinity of the publican’s booth said that they did not like the colour of the catalogue he was selling, but would be buyers if he could supply them with either red or blue ones. When told by the secretary that catalogues of that colour we're not available and that the men in question were only ‘‘pulling his leg,” the little fellow withdrew with a sadder countenance than ever.
