SPORTS DEALER FINED £4O. Electric Telegraph—Press Association WAIPUKURAU, December 16. Leonard Beachen, sports dealer, Waipukurau, was fined £4O, costs 10s. by Mr J. Miller, S.M.. in the Magistrates’ Court to-day on a charge of using premises as a common gaming house. Beachen pleaded guilty. The police stated that a raid was made bn November 28 and it was found that 65 bets had been taken on the Auckland and Feilding meetings
