Bisset reported to yesterday’s meeting that lie and the Overseer had inspected the Scarborough Domain and ho now recommended that in view of the amount of erosion taking place along the banks of the Mangntainoka river and the probability of protection ■works being undertaken at tome future* date, the Council could not recommend that the continuity of the road access along tlie river be broken, or that tin's particular portion of the road be- closed.
