Jewish Supernumeraiy police engaged Lebanese terrorists on the 20th June and killed two and injured two. Two police were wounded. The terrorists destroyed seveial sections of Tagarts Wall. Arabs at Safad closed their shops when ihe bodies of the killed instead of being handed over to them for ceiemonial burial were held for identification.
