THREE WEEKS APART
A Jersey cross heifer purchased recently by Mr B. Haynes, Waiohiki, has presented its new owner with two calves, a bull and a heifer, with an interval of three weeks between the two births. The manager of Mr Haynes’s property, Mr W. Woods, said there was no chance of a mistake having been made, as the heifer was the only occupant of the paddock. A new flush of milk was noticed after the arrival of the second calf.
