PROGRAMME FOR 1938-39 .SEASON. The committee has drawn up the following programme for the Pahiatua Golf Club: June 4—Flag competition June 11—Stableford bogey. June 18—Medal (Byrne Cup). June 25—Four-ball bogey. July 2—Men v. ladies. July 9—First qualifying round championships (Byrne Cup). July 16—Bogey. July 23—Hidden hole competition. July 30—Second qualifying round championships (Byrne Cup). August 6—Four-ball bogey. August 13—Third qualifying round championships (Byrne Cup). August 20—Bogey. August 27—Medal (Byrne Cup). Sep+ember 3—Stableford bogey. September 10—Ladies. September 17—Medal (Byrne Cup). September 24—Canadian foursome. October I—Bogey. October B—Medal (Bvrne Cup). October 15—Bogey. October 22—Tournament. October 29—Closing day. GENERAL CONDITIONS. All competitions must be played on the days specified. Score cards must be completed, signed by the scorer and placed in the score-card box on day of competition. Ties will be decided as the committee may direct. All handicaps have been increased by one as a result of the par for the course being increased to 72.
