In their match against M.C.C. ihe Australians are all out for 520 and M.C.C have lost one wicket for 46 The weather was cool and cloudy when play was resumed. Bradman soon passed 258, his previous highest score, ot the tour. He did not appear to be troubled by his foot when running to-day. He began to punish the fast bowling, especially Fames. Smith, however, entorced more respect and got Bradman* s wicket when he was attempting a cover drive wjrich he lilted and was beautifully caught by Robins a few inches from the ground. His innings lasted 350 minutes and he hit one six and 35 fours. Barnett joined Waite who lvad. been extremely quiet. Barnett was soon, out leg-before and Waite was the next to go in the same manner alter a scratchy display. McCormick was easily caught at the wicket and O’Reilly was brilliantly caught low and left-handed by second slip. The innings lasted seven hours.
