DRUID’S LODGE

LAST NIGHT’S MEETINGThe Druids’ Lodge held their fortnightly meeting last night. P.A. Sister V. Wolland presiding over a lair attendance. Apologies were received from the A.D. and several officers. The invitation to the Oddfellows' Dance on Easter Monday was accepted with thanks. Accounts amounting to nearly £l4 were passed for payment. An invitation to attend divine service at St. Paul’s on May 1 was discussed and final arrangements will be made next meeting. Reports were received regarding a visit to Oroua. Lodge (Palmerston North) and members acknowledged the hospitality accorded them. The D.P. invited a lew adult members to accompany him to Palmerston North on Thursday, April 14th, when the juvenile members will visit a sister lodge. Two members were reported in hospital and hopes were expressed for their speedy recovery. The Lodge decided to hold a social evening and dance when kindred lodges will be invited to attend It was also agreed to ask Onnui to conduct the* business that evening. After lodge closed supper was served.
