Vienna, the gay city, is the sitting and background for Para mount's musical, “Champagne Waltz” wluVb screens finally at tlu* Kings Theatre to-night it 8 p.m. Gladys Swarthout and Fred Mac Murray have the loading roles and a strong supporting ea.st includes Jack Oakie. Herman Bing and A’eloz and Yolanda (American Ballroom stars).
A varied supporting programme includes Paramount News, Betty Boop Cartoon, and a special short feature dealing with the 25tli anniversary of Paramount Pictures.
DOUBLE FEATURE TO-MORROW. “Hills of Old Wyoming ’ and “The Crime Nobody Saw,” comprise the double-feature programme to be screened to-morrow and Friday, commencing at 8 p.m. “Hills of Old Wyoming” is the tenth “Hopalong Cassidy” story by Clarence E. Afulford, author of Paramount 1 s Western action tales, to reach the screen. William Boyd, who created,the thrilling film personality of “Hopalong Cassidy,” has the star role, and is supported by George Hayes, Russell Hayden, Stephen Morris and Clara IvimbalJ Young.
The associate feature', “The Crime Nobody* Saw,* r is a thrilling murder mystery* featilling Lew Ayres, Ruth Column. Eugene Pallette and the New Zealand actor Colin Taplcy.
