CONSOLIDATION FAVOURED.
FOR RI'AWHAI'A SCHOLARS. A meeting of Ruawhata householders last night, presided over by Mr K. C. Yates, passed a ..solution favouring consolidation with a centra! school by a majority one short oi being unanimous. The meeting was held in reference to closing the school and utilising a bus service lor the tc.nveyanoe oi ihe children to a larger school. Colonel T. W. McDonald and .Mr A. Donald (off the Wellington E turn Hoard) were present and explained the principle <9 consolidation as applied to til*' schools. 1 l:ev stated that parents generally had lied! very satisfied w ith the r. sub. - which were aimed at improving teaching facilities.
