BASKETBALL REPS

DEPART FOR AUCKLAND. Tht, Bush basketball representatives left for Auckland yesterday, travelling in a special train from Palmerston North. Unfortunately, one of the team’s star goalies, R. Aston, was unable to make the trip and the selectors (Mesdames L. T. Russell and W. Bentley) substituted with D. Mahoney (Rovers), after conferring with the committee. The team play their first match on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.
