WOODVILLE MOTORIST REMANDED.
CHARGE OF INTOXICATION. .Belore. Mr W. Dobson, J.P., in the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday morning, Harold Maton Smith, Jf Woodville, farmer, was charged that on May 28, 1937, at Dannevirke, in a public place. Miller’s road, he was in a state of intoxication while m chiarge ol' a motor vehicle. Air Geo*. Lloyd. who appeared, for tiie accused, asked for a remand until next Thursday. Sergeant Doggett stated that ho had no objection to the remand. The accused, who was a farmer residing in the Woodvilie district, had only been arrested on Friday evening, and counsel had only that n ornimT been instructed and desired time to look into the case. I. he accused was accordiugJv remanded. Bail was allowed, sell in the sum. of £sd, and one surety of like amount.
