The Judge said he was not punishing them owing to their religious convictions but because tho\ belonged to an organisation whose tenets were simihir to Communism. Though they sought to bide theii aims under a mantle of religion they tried to undermine the foundations <3 the* State, therefore their doctrines must constitute anarchy.
