AURORA AUSTRALIS.
SEEN FROM PAHIATUA. The Aurora .Australis- was seen in all its beauty last night from. 7 o’clock onward. The clear, frosty air enabled the lights to be clearly seen, and they presented a. remarkable .panorama, of colours. The Aurora first appeared as a bright glow in the south-eastern and south-western sky, and the lights then commenced to sketch their banners of colour across the heavens. The phenoim non was visible for some time.
