HEAD-ON COLLISION.
MOTOR CAR AM) TRAM Electric Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH April 17 hi a head-on collision with a tram in Pacos road, Bromley, last night, five occupants oi a motorcar -were injured, two most seriously. The injured were : Frank Bro-adhurst, aged 35 who suffered severe concussion and head injuries. Maurice Broad hurst aged 19, a brother oi Frank Broadlurst and the driver of the car, severe concussion and head injuries. Lorna Jones, concussion. Jean Fowler, aged 18. concussion. Robert Stretch, slight injuries. The condition of the Broadhurst brothers this morning was reported to be still serious. Both are unconscious. FATAL CITY ACCIDENT WELLINGTON. Last Night. Knocked down bv a taxi oposite the A.M C A. Hostel in Willis street, about 11 p.m. on Saturday. Mr R. B. Brown, an elderly man living in Vivian street, received severe head injuries which caused bis death in the Wellington Public Hospital at 3.45 p.m. to-day.
