The Daily Telegraph’s .Bucharest correspondent says that the inner circle of Cabinet held almost a. two-day .secret session at the house of the Premier, AT. Tartarescu. and discussed measures to deal with the Iron Guards’ threatening attitude. AL Tartarescu declared the police would take the strongest action against a demonstration ,in favour of Prince Nicholas. Professor Gerota, surgeon to the Royal Family and a, member of the Iron Guard, was arrested and charged with sedition. AT. Pliilipescu n Conservative, in a. speech, attacked the Iron Guards, declaring that every Iron Guard outrage would lx- answered hv tenfold reprisals by tin- Democratic party. Meanwhile AT. Caiitacuzenu. at a meeting of the Iron Guard, read i letter from Prince Nicholas stating that lie* did not refuse to obey King Carol and also did not renounce his rank hut was degarded hy the King.
