PUBLIC ADDRESS.

MR ROBERTSON AT HAMI’A. There was a good attendaiice at the public address delivered by Mr Robertson. M.P., in. the Hamua Hall last night. Mr J. B. Carruthers, chairman of the Eketahuna County was in the chair. Mr Robertson briefly covered the work done by the Government also* outlining the principle points of their future policy. At the conclusion of the address the chairman in moving that a hearty vote of thanks be passed to Mr Robertson for his fine address said that before the election he had not known much about Mr Robertson but since the Labour Government had been in power he had had occasion to meet the districts representative on several occasions and had found him a liretty live wire and extremely punctual in all his dealings. The meeting closed with the usual vote oi thanks to the chair.
