LOAN COMPANY’S REPORT. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cabled advice from their London house dated 25th instant: London wool sales: The sales closed firmly to-day. Home buyers were the principal operators. As compared with last sale's closing rates, prices are higher Jd to Id pei lb for crossbred lambs, fine scoured crossbred, medium greasy crossbred and fine crossbred slipe; prices are higher Id pfer lb for scoured Merino super, medium and coarse scoured crossbred, coarse greasy crossbred and medium and coarse crossbred slips; prices for firie greasy crossbred are higher by Id a lb, and prices are higher par to Jd per lb for greasy Merino super and Merino lambs ; for Merino medium and inferior, prices are lower par to Jd per lb. Quotations for good average New Zealand wool, greasy fleece: 64’s, 15d to ie.l; 1 60/64’s, 14Jd to 15Jd : o6'sfVs. 13Jd to 14Jd; 56's, 12d to 123 d; 50 s. lOd to 113 d ; 48 50’s, 9Jd to lid ; 48’s, 9Jd to IOJd ; 46'48’s. 9Jd to 10Jd; 46 s. 9Jd to lOd; 44/46's, 9Jd to lOd; 40 44's, 9d to 93d; 40's. 9d to 93d.
