Boaro, were trapped by flames on the top floor of a five .stories building at ,Surry Hills, oc-a-pied by the Common wealth Drug Company. The firemen had to fight for their lives against the flames and deadly carbon monoxide fumes until their comrades came to their aid. Five members of the brigade were severely burned when two drums of oil exploded and sprayed them. The damage to the building and stock amounts to thousands of pounds'.
