QUIST’S INJURED ANKLE.

LIGAMENT TORN. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July 19. An X-rav of Quist’s ankle shows that the ligament is. torn or displaced and lie is unable to-day to put his foot to the ground. He received further treatment but unless he makes a remarkable recovery will be unable to play to-morrow in the doubles in which McGrath will probably be substituted. There is a faint hope that Quist will have sufficiently recovered to play Henkel in the singles on Tuesday, if not. McGrath would substitute if Quist is certified medically unfit.
