MAKES RECORD PAY-OUT. As a result of a very successful year the Mauriceville Co-op Dairy C*o. made a payout to suppliers yesterday which constitutes a record for one month of the company’s. a 3B years operations. The bonus at the rate of lid per If), over the jieriod Ist October to 31st May inclusive will amount to £11,470 2s Bd, whilst the .Juno supply at the rate of Is per Ih. for “finest” will amount to £2330 18s Bd, tin* whole totalling £13,801 Is 4d. A further, and it is expected substantial, bonus, will be paid in August. This company, whose financial position is extremely sound, makes a practice of clearing up the years operations at the earliest possible moment, and the final bonus for the season is generally paid in August,. Ten years ego the output of Mauiiccbille was 25b tons. The season just ended it was 1 179 tons butter, an increase of 202 tons oven- last season smd a record output to date. Indications point, to • further increase during the present season as quite a number of new suppliers have intimated their intention of supplying. The plant is quite capable of handling an increased output without any Additions or alterations.
