PANTRY EVENING.
FUNCTION FOR MISS P. MILLS. A jolly pantry evening was given last night by Mrs. E. E. Etz in her home on Main St. to Miss Phyllis Mills, whose wedding takes place shortly. The evening was sj>ent in games and singing. Before supper was served Mrs. Etz asked the guest of honour to accept the many beautiful and useful gifts brought by those present and from the look of* the array the guest's pantry will be well stocked when she sets up housekeeping. Miss Mills and Mrs. Mills both returned thanks for the goodwill expressed by their kind friends Duriiig the evening two competitions were held, the first being a Peanut game, won by the guest of the evening, Miss P. Mills, while the other, a flower game, was wen by Airs W. Bentley. A delightful supper was handed round and it was nearly midnight before the happy gathering broke up.
