Mr H. Howatt, of Eketahuna, lias taken up his duties in the telegraph and mailroom division of the Pahiatua. Post Office in succession to Mr lb. W. T. Major. Mr H. McCann, who had been stationed for some months at Pahiatua as postman, took up similar duties at Marton to-day.

Mr .1. lb. Cade, of the Public Works Department, Wanganui, made an official visit to Pahiatua last week.

Mr and Mrs W. Scott and family, of Cambridge Street, have returned homo after a short holiday spent with friends, in Maliarahara.
