HAGGIS BANNED.
'The* only country from which home-sick Scots in Canada can import their favourite national dish, h.-.geis, is France. This was ievealed at Ottawa recently when Air William F.a.vr. a Liberal member, pointed <-ut that a shipment of haggis from Edinburgh was shopped at Montreal under the foot-and-mouth disease regulations. Mr Fraser tabled a motion demanding the restoration to Sec ts ;n Canada of tlieir immemorial right to import haggis from Scotland.
