Thirty ye ars of Air Jones' life were spent ;*.t Allredton. and ninny pioneer settlers of the* Bush district will recall the old coaching days in connection with which Mr .lone** enrricel on the service between Kkutahmia and Alt'reel ton. Alt Jones married AJiiss Edith Saunders, the* youngest daughter of Mr William Saunders, of Alfred ton, who died some* 16 ve*;:rs ago. There are* no family. For Hie* past 16 year* Mr Jones had been engaged in farming at Kjuiwhnta. m*ar Palmerston North, lhe funeral takes place ;it- Palmerston to-morrow.
